As of late Mr. Speed and I realized that our upstairs guestroom, although sweet, luxurious and perfectly situated for our occasional overnight guests, was a bit of a wasted space. When we first moved into this house I re-painted the small basement room to make an office for us, but over time we realized that going down to work in the small and cramped basement room wasn’t all that enticing, who knew?

So with Mr. Speed really needing a better work space from home we decided to switch the rooms and send the bed down to the basement and move the office stuff up stairs. Here is where our guests will be sleeping now and I think it is quite cozy and quaint, almost makes me want to sleep down there tonight!
